I just got brand new 400 pro about 3 weeks ago and about to get rid of it. I was not too bothered about performance because I don't play games

I use Instagram a lot and the 400 pro literally can't keep up with the scrolling.

It hangs and freezes, locks up and I've had enough of it. It's the latest Global version with latest updates

I still have my 6 years old Huawei Mate 20 pro which I've had to go back to

I prefer to stick to Huawei/Honor because I like the interface but the 400 pro is simply not up to it

Anyone using a Honor phone for Instagram daily that they can recommend?

Not sure what this is called when you hold your finger on the screen and a side menu pops out???

I have a new 400 pro which has this "feature" but it's a real nuisance. I can't scroll through Instagram without it opening every advert. I have disabled the "Magic Side Bar" but that's not worked

Anyone know what this feature is called and how to disable it???

Anyone managed to use PayPal Debit card on Google Pay/Wallet?????

I applied for Pp debit card to get points in purchases

I only ever pay with my phone

I installed the app downloaded virtual card to my Google pay/wallet and activated it but it wouldn't let me pay? Errored!

Called Customer service, she says it's fine, all good hey end, tried again. Failed!

Decided to order physical card, card arrived and it PayPal account prompts to activate by adding the 3 digit code on the card, tried contactless but failed!

Activated it the usual way by actually inserting and adding pin. Worked!!!!

Tried again with virtual card on my phone. Failed!

Good news for Honor Chinese versions as of today! Google Assistant has now been replaced by Gemini for choosing your music "Play Genesis".

It is well documented that Chinese versions of Android phones do not support Google Assistant "ok Google [command]", but do support Gemini

Also well documented that Gemini does not support music commands, and when I tested, Gemini redirects users to Google Assistant for music commands

I use Android Auto to play music daily. UNTIL TODAY AA used Google Assistant to play music commands, and today my music commands were answered and executed by Gemini and NOT GA

In conclusion:

So as of today Chinese versions of the Honor phones (Honor Magic8 Air) should now be able to work for choosing music whilst you drive with Android Auto. Can anyone with Magic8 Air confirm this is the case?
