Im currently employed at The Home Depot but I’m in desperate need of transferring since my Home Depot is VERY far from my new location and they seem to take forever to transfer me.
Lowe’s is pretty close to my house and I landed an interview for this Wednesday at 8:30am
Now they want to reschedule for next week Tuesday… problem is.. I’m working at THD that day and can’t call out, I can’t reschedule sooner and it doesn’t give me any other day after that Tuesday as of today
I really want this job as soon as possible, would it be a bad idea to show up at 8:30am and maybe try to talk to someone???

Ive been trying to transfer stores and stay with Home Depot since February but seems to take forever, I relocated and my Home Depot is way too far from home.
I decided to apply to something closer to me and that I already know. I landed an in-person interview for Lowe’s for this Wednesday
is there anything I should expect from this interview?
My starting pay at THD was 17.50 and currently is 18
Can Lowe’s match the pay or offer something close to it?

I moved far from my previous home and I’m trying to transfer stores, I’ve applied online, went to the stores in person, had managers take my info, but to this day nothing… how long does a transfer takes?? I’ve been waiting for almost two months now
I don’t want to drive/take ubers 1+ hour to work…
