…Been trying to trace this one down …sometimes it seems worse than other times. I had a mechanic. Tell me that my AC pulley was rubbing against the timing cover… my whole timing cover right there in that spot feels pretty loose and all over the place anyhow… so, I don’t know if this might be internal pulley components knocking against the timing cover or perhaps a failed timing belt tensioner -maybe because it was installed incorrectly …probably wasn’t primed correctly by the mechanic I had originally do it when I was in a pinch for time…
I’m thinking about going through the whole motor trying to pragmatically figure this out with hope it’s not Rod knock but looking to see what the community thinks…
