Did you know that the Algerian Navy managed to intercept and expel an Israeli submarine from our territorial waters?

Hi everyone, I just learned about a naval operation from September 2021 near Oran.

During the preparations for the "Radaa 2021" military exercises, an Israeli Dolphin-class submarine attempted to covertly infiltrate our waters. Its objective was an espionage mission: to track the training launch of our Kalibr cruise missiles and gather technical intelligence on our Project 363 submarines.

An Algerian Kilo-class submarine detected the intrusion using acoustic means. In response, the amphibious transport dock Kalaat Béni Abbès deployed two Superlynx anti-submarine helicopters equipped with optical and magnetic detectors to track the vessel from above.

Two of our Kilo-class submarines then pushed the hostile vessel northward, surrounding the Dolphin-class sub just 5 kilometers away from the Kalaat Béni Abbès. Outmaneuvered and facing the threat of destruction, the Israeli crew was forced to surface, signaling that they were abandoning their mission, and retreated from the Algerian coast.

This incident highlights how the Algerian National Navy responds to intrusions and secures our maritime borders.

Is having 4 wives still a possible reality for an Algerian man today?

Hello everyone,

I am an Algerian man in my early 20s, and I’ve been wondering if having 4 wives is still genuinely doable for an Algerian man, whether back home or anywhere else in the world.

To be completely honest, one of my biggest visions in life and my ultimate long-term goal is to live with four loving wives and have a very large family with lots of kids. I fully understand that this is tied to strict conditions. I know you have to be able to provide completely financially, physically, and emotionally. It requires a lot of work, maintenance, and treating them all with absolute fairness. But I am asking this assuming I get to that level of wealth and stability (which I firmly believe I will reach soon).

I know the current norm in Algeria makes this very infrequent, and people might look at you crazy, especially in the northern cities. But I wanted to ask: is this still doable in Algeria today? Are there areas, maybe in the middle or the south, where society is still accepting of this lifestyle?

If it’s completely dead in Algeria, my other option is to eventually move to a country where this is still socially accepted and normal, like one of the Gulf countries, and just marry my 4 wives and build my family there.

Has anyone here seen this work out recently? Thanks for your help and perspective. Please, no hate, I am just asking for genuine advice about my life goals!
