I am scheduled for a planned c-section in two weeks because of breech position. I’m anxious about the recovery but told my mom we would plan on her coming to see the baby the next day. She arranged, without speaking to me, my brother to come the following day on his way to work, as that’s convenient for him.

My gut is really to not promise anything because I’m worried about how I’ll be feeling, especially for someone I’m not comfortable being vulnerable in front of. But there’s a lot of pressure.

What should I expect of recovery? And will I feel up to visitors likely?
