Visiting Stockholm in December - where else to go

Hello! My job is having me visit Stockholm for a 4 days in the first week of December. I have have never made it to Sweden before, and am very excited to spend some time here!

I'm thinking of spending two days outside of work in Stockholm, and taking another 4-5 days off and going someplace else either in Sweden or around there. What would you recommend doing in Stockholm itself and where else around there is good to visit during that time of the year? I love walking around, hiking/spending time in nature (though maybe not as much in the cold!), learning about the history of places, and enjoying local food/drink.

Maintaining financial accounts after ones visa has expired

Hi. My visa expires in 2 months and I will be leaving the States permanently after several years of living here. I have several bank accounts and credit cards here, and my salary (through a remote, non-US organization) gets deposited in a US bank account. I also have a ROTH IRA and a brokerage account here through Charles Schwab. Has anyone else figured this out and what the potential complications of keeping all these accounts active is? Or, shoud I be shutting out all these accounts and route everything to my home country bank account?

On a related note, do you recommend keeping my american phone number active?

Hi. I am applying for my residency in another country and they madate stamped and signed monthly statements. I contacted Discover customer care and they said they don't do this. Has anyone ever had any luck in getting this? And if so, how did you?
