Dwarf banana plant not fruiting

Dwarf banana plant not fruiting

I got my dwarf banana plant three years ago. It has looked essentially the same the entire time. About 1.5 years ago a pup began budding and the original plant started to die off so the large part of the plant is the first pup. Recently, new pups have begun to come out. Aside from this, the plant still not has fruited.

I live in New England so consistent humidity can be tricky, but I’d also like to think the plant is somewhat healthy by the new pups coming out. Is there anything that can be done to help with getting to that point? Open to tips, tricks, suggestions!

Loan for loans?

Due to a series of unfortunate events (pet emergency bills, breakup & mold discovery after purchase of home), I’ve had to take out a series of 3 loans over the course of 4.5 years. I generally keep my credit in a good spot as I am a responsible payer (just have shitty luck). I’m currently in a spot to consolidate these three loans into one and am in a great credit spot (790+). Does is make sense to do so with what I currently have:

Loan 1- monthly payment of $295- will be done 2/2027

Loan 2- monthly payment of $380- will be done 5/2029

Loan 3- monthly payment of $313- will be done 2/2029

Total loan debt ~$25k

I have a loan offer for a monthly payment of $530 for 60 months (ending around 6/2031).

Would it make sense to pay off loans as if or consolidate to one and pay for longer?

Support for aging tripawd

Just got back from the vet with my 7 yo Tripawd missing one of her back legs. She’s recently needed more support with stairs which we are happy to give. Within the last two days she’s been less active/mobile. We went to the vet and were on daily pain management, however, they wanted to try a harness to support her rear and unfortunately the harness did not seem to work as it would slide off (missing leg and all).

Any harness/support suggestions? Also open to knowing what others have tried for pain relief related to aging and possible sprains.

Hey Dad(s)!

I need to help and am only slightly clueless as to where to start/what to do.

I bought a greenhouse kit. It’s 6x8 and fits in the little plot pictured in the gallery. I’m not sure what the cement barrier was ever supposed to be but we’re working with it. The ground seems to be mostly rocks/fill.

Any advice as to where to start in terms of prepping the ground and leveling it for a greenhouse?

I am also very open to any advice about how to set up the greenhouse, anchoring tips, anything else. Any advice very appreciated as my own family wouldn’t be able to help me even if I wanted.
