My 1st ever first dawless gig went a bit wrong - could the Sidekick help me?

I just posted a video going through what happened at my first ever dawless gig, and I’m wondering if the K.O.—Sidekick might actually help me improve.

The two things I focus on are the cue buttons for privately auditioning sounds before bringing them into the mix, and USB-C audio straight into a phone for easy recording/streaming.

Curious if anyone else who’s done dawless live sets thinks the cue buttons would actually make a big difference, or if this is more about me tightening up my prep and sample selection?

Turning the Korg Volca Kick into Melodic Experimental Sounds

I’ve been surprised by how much range this thing actually has once you start pushing the resonator, drive, motion sequencing, and pitch beyond stand 4/4 house beats. In the video I explore drones, basslines, metallic textures, noisy percussion, and more ambient-style sounds.

Curious to read how other people here use the Volca Kick.
