Spiraled dry. Flipped upside down, sprayed with soda ash water. Dusted Dreamy Night (went light, 2.5% dye by weight) only from Dyespin. Placed the dusted side down in a muck container. Placed ice around the edges to encourage the ice melt to go up and into the shirt encouraging the different colors to split in travel into the dry shirt. Not a lot of ice. There was no standing water to be seen. Batched outside in 100f for 4 hours and washed.

Picture 3 and 4 show the top of the shirt. The dye you see there traveled from the bottom.

Super happy with this one. It's very bright.

2xl with 12 different dyes. Dyes placed in lines going to the center(only 4 dyes went to the very center, others stopped short). After applying the dye I put it on the colander and as I use blue painters tape to keep my spirals in a disc while drying, I cut the tape right under one of the sleeves to let it drape.

I need to get more colanders so I can do more than one at a time!

Uncle asked me to make matching shirts for him and my aunt. Green and purple. I did Lilac to moody purple to Avalon to Carina nebula and some electric green. Dui in the muck.

Curious what the group thinks. I duplicated the colors on the shoulder to give it some dimension. Dui, in the muck.

Really enjoying the offset spiral look and the Comfort Color blanks. 12 dyes across the spectrum, DUI-Rack dyed.
