My first attempt at tie dye.

A few months ago I made this tie dye linen piece. We moved and it got folded up and forgotten. A few weeks ago I unpacked it and it glared at me from the work table for a day or two before I got to work. This is about an hour a day for 8 days. I'll be using it this summer.

Making stock

Hit upon this genius idea to sell ties so i can buy supplies to make more ties. Everything SAS , first one was DUI the rest were DOI , Muck anywhere from 2-6 hours . Sinew plus braided line.

First one is Dharma , the others are Dyespin splits

Sorry for the repeated post but the original got pulled for using the S word so im just gonna post here seperately.

Latest an GRre....well maybe not my greatest but I'm getting there

  1. Was a 2 separate dye test Not quite thrilled bout it but 2. It just wasent in my favor for that one. 3. I Should have kept going an did the backround but I didn't like the way the folds were at the outter ring of the mandala .. may revisit it if I can find the confidence in it....4. is What I ended up Giving to my biggest supporter on mother's Day. It has things that could be better but over all Pretty proud of it. 5.An0ther good progress piece for me. 6 really like the colors with this back is ehh but ya know 7.. I really wish this one didn't come out almost faded best way to describe it is it's almost got a hazy feel cloudy almost front an back look good to me it's just the almost old vintage feeling I get which is kinda cool but not what I was goin for... Lmk what yalll think pls don't be too harsh pls I'm still noobin round here !!

TIE DYE- NEEDS TO BE READY IN 12 hours….

So my step son’s field day is tomorrow. His grade is required to wear a certain color. I got the tie dye already soaking into the shirt but I don’t have time to let it sit over night.. I need to like wash it and all the things tonight… any tips on how to make the dye set faster? Or like anything??? 😫

His grandma had picked him up from school today and gave him this collar-neck, tropical/ beach looking shirt… so now he’s dead set on wearing it…. But it’s FEILD DAY..
we should’ve already had a back up plan, I know, but we didn’t.. so now I’m rushing to make SOMETHING work because I already know he’s not going to want to keep that shirt on the whole day.

Literally any helpful tips or advice would be appreciated 🤍 TIA

Quick edit, what are your thoughts?

So I made this video reel for another social media platform to hopefully increase traction. I'm curious what your thoughts are on the shirts and the video as a whole. Music was selected through the editing app: Turning Point by Adam Griffith.

Tie dye products!

Selling your products!?

I’ve tried Facebook marketplace, Depop, I’ve created my own website. I showcase on Facebook, insta and Tik-tok. How in the world do you sell your products!? I don’t really have time to sell at markets or I’d try that but also I don’t have that many products. I have 35 shirts. Is that enough to go to a market for? Send help!! All advice welcomed. lol thank you in advance.
