Travel Insurance for Total Trip Cost to Fully Refundable Mexico All Inclusive Needed?

Hello,

Looking for a little insight. We are celebrating our 25th anniversary in October in Mexico and have booked airfare (around $1,700) and have put down a card for reservations at an IC resort (around $6,700). I've never done travel insurance until last year when we went to Germany and I really didn't know what I was doing. When filling out the quote forms, we are being asked to fill out the cost of the trip and I don't know if I have to include the cost of the resort.

We have booked a fully refundable resort package and can cancel for full refund until the day before we leave. Plane tickets are business class and have some flexibility, but not entirely sure what that all entails. While I don't really want to lose the $1,600 in pane ticket money, I don't feel like we need to get insurance for the whole trip cost. I think we would really only need the medical insurance portion but I'm not positive. Maybe in order to get medical for insurance you still have to input total cost of trip?

If anyone can clarify a little bit, I would definitely appreciate your input. Bought the plane tickets and made resort reservation 7 days ago.

Thank you

Discount for Listing Another on the Title

Hello,

Could use a little help. My elderly dad is purchasing a new car. He called me and stated that if I am also listed on the title, he qualifies for $750 discount. He is purchasing the car in cash. I've never heard of such a thing. The dealership told him he just has to get the title relisted after a few months. Is this a real discount or just another slimy thing dealerships do. We each have excellent credit and don't want wither of us to take any kind of hit to that if it would.

I tried looking this up but the closest I could find was something called Conquest Cash. But that looks like you would have to list another family member in the same house. We live several cities apart.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for Small Music Venue in the West St Louis Area

Hello,

I'm bringing my 17 yo son to a baseball tournament June 11 - 14. We go to a lot of show together here in Milwaukee, frequenting a small venue called Xray Arcade that has a lot of hardcore, emo, punk, etc type music. Often times local bands and some national exposure where its fairly inexpensive to get in and not a total drunk fest. I came across Red Flag and Fubar Lounge. There looks like a possible show to see but they don't really give descriptions of the bands that I see.

Anyone have any other suggestions of places to go? He likes being in the pit, I'm too old. Stage diving and crowd surfing are a plus. I also don't want to go into any questionable areas if possible. We are staying in the Chesterfield area.

Thank you for any help!
