





Never order from zomato! Ordered Chole-bhature, received JUST CHOLE and Zomato’s garbage ai support won't even register a complaint!
Hope this reaches to maximum people, as this has become quite a norm of these quick commerce apps nowadays. They're so much pain in the ass when their whole purpose of discovery was "convenience" gimmick.
So this happened last night I ordered Chole bhature (Order# 812774 8423) thru zomato. The package arrives perfectly sealed with the bill stapled. I open it up just to find JUST THE CHOLE, with some shit stale salad. No bhaturas nothing.
I call up the restaurant owner and he literally confirmed on phone like "Yeah, the bhatura is left behind at his shop" and starts blaming the poor delivery guy that HE didn't took the "second packet" and hangs up.
Now the package I received was sealed. I even spoke to the delivery guy, and he told me that the restaurant themselves handed him only one single sealed package and nothing else
I confronted this scammer restaurant owner back for a refund/fresh delivery and this fraud guy tells me ...he won't give a refund, and he won't deliver my bhaturas as my place is 7 km away and I can go talk to the company (Wth!?) And now he's ignoring my calls. Even after their clear fault, he had the audacity to be rude and stoop so low for 100-150 rupees!
And these days due to their cheap cost cutting tactics, zomato's support has gone nuts with their nonsense ai bots, I'm stuck with this Ai bot loop and it just says "feedback submitted" and no other resolution with zero accountability. It's not about the money anymore, My entire mood and dinner got ruined.
Won't order from zomato ever due to their pathetic service, these already multi billionaire corporates charge tens of different platform fees, surge fee, night and rain fee, etc. on already overpriced items than what they are offered on restuarant's menu and they can't even acknowledge and provide resolution for such serious negligences.
