I recently had an issue where my bearing on my 2010 street glide wheel got stuck and the race got left in the wheel. The dealer won’t touch it until it’s removed and another shop is charging me $200+ for everything. I’ve found a wheel locally that is from a 2008 street glide with ABS, for $100. Should I be able to throw the 08 wheel on my 2010 without issue?
Hey guys, I was out riding today and noticed the front end of my bike started feeling really weird and clunky. I pulled over immediately and found the wheel bearing on the brake side was completely destroyed.
I was originally thinking about replacing it myself, but honestly I don’t have a ton of tools and with something this safety-critical, I’m not sure I trust myself to do it 100% correctly. At this point I’m thinking about just pulling the wheel off and taking it to a dealer for the repair so I can have some peace of mind.
Any Harley techs or service advisors in here? If I bring just the wheel in for a bearing replacement on a 2010 Street Glide, about how much should I expect to spend?
Also, has anyone here done this job themselves? Is it worth buying the tools (bearing puller, bigger wrench set, etc.) and learning to do it myself, or should I just let the dealer handle it?
Hey all! I ruined my Ryzen 7 3700x pins the other day and thought it’d be a good reason to upgrade my build. Noticed recently my Pc has been lagging a bit so an upgrade wouldn’t hurt.
As of now, I’m looking to get a Ryzen 7800x3d, however, I don’t know what motherboard, ram, and m.2 to buy. I use my PC for gaming and run most my games on high settings.
I already have a Nvidia 4070, fans, PSU and a Corsair 4000D airflow case. Could you guys help me decide what to get without breaking the bank? Budget maybe $1000. Haven’t built a PC in years so I’m not sure how realistic that budget is.
