Accordion Fold Problems
Hello, I want to preface this by saying if someone is able to help with this it would GREATLY help me out at my job like you couldn’t imagine, also my apologies for the wording I am a complete noob with next to 0 onboarding training expected to know how to run production with no resources.
At my job we have these new “pocket books” that are printed front and back on 12x18 80# gloss paper, and trimmed to 11x17” then folded into an accordion fold a middle fold and then 2 more folds. Basically the page is split into quarters horizontally long way.
We use Fiery Command Workstation and InDesign and I am printing to a Canon C710 WITH a folding unit on it, yet everything I try I get a paper size error and simply cannot figure out how to get these trimmed and folded within the printer, so I am having to cut and then fold thousands by hand each month. Half my job has become folding these.
I know it’s not a lot to go off of, but can someone help me find out how to do this? There is only documentation on the printer that I can find and it’s pretty lackluster. Not sure if it’s something in fiery or the printer or a bad print layout in indesign or a combination of that, if you could help me with this just know I would be eternally grateful and it would clear up something that is honestly making my job a living hell.

My recent added is getting flooded with glitched albums 🥀
Randomly in the middle of my shift I got a notification that an album I added to my library literally years ago “released” and lo and behold in my recently added (main page of Apple Music) it has been flooded with random albums, some added to my library a decade ago… to make things worse the signature Apple Music SPLIT albums happened so some of them show up twice.
Stuff like this is my BIGGEST GRIPE with Apple Music, been a devout iTunes user and have only ever used and loved AM but damn this drives me crazy. For me my recently added is very important — I have a bit of an “out of sight, out of mind” problem with music and prefer to see my recent music tastes reflected on the main screen. How and why did this happen? Any way to move these back off of my recently added?
I haven’t listened to ADTR since like 2015 😭
