hello (and sorry if this is corny) ,
as you can see from the title, i’m currently experiencing a tremendous amount of grief and am also a pretty big drainer. one of my closest friends very recently passed away in an absolutely tragic accident. i have been struggling to eat, get out of bed, socialize, and it’s hard to describe what i’m feeling to the people that care about me.
one of the recent joys i’ve “discovered” to get me through this is music. i’ve listened to so much recently but the artists that have stuck specifically are bladee, ecco, thaiboy, and lean. i don’t know what it is about their music, but all 4 artists have the perfect balance of songs with emotions i’m feeling and can relate to, or need to feel to distract myself. my favorites recently have been “aaa powerline” by ecco and “legendary member” with all of them.
it is still unbearably hard, but music, along with the guidance of friends and family are truly saving my life right now. for the first time ever, i believe that music artists have genuinely saved my life and now understand people that have said that.
to anybody going through something similar, please know that you have so many people that care about you and that no matter how hard it is at first, it will get easier. maybe it’s a month, a year, or a decade, but it will get easier.

haven't listened to bladee in a while and i listened to his new album and it js doesnt hit no more like fox & birch be good then u have blackfire or am i js tweakin.
i love bladee so much and have for years and my bf says he can understand why i like him but that it hurts his ears:(

I don’t exactly remember what it looked like but im going to describe everything I remember..
sooo I remember an artwork that i think was related to bladee’s beautiful martyr project and I remember it having two people with very long flowing pink hair The guy was holding a sword and wearing a black outfit while the girl was wearing a white ruffled dress and also I remember the artwork being mostly monochrome with pink being the only color.
Also it had “drain story” written on top i think??

Over the years ive discovered many artists and obsessed over them for a specific period of time and then discovered new ones and stopped listening to them. Since i started listening to bladee ive also discovered many artists but never stopped listening to bladee or dg in general and hes still my favorite artist after so many years.
Just listening to bladee for the first time and this guys is so freaking odd. Is it ust the subculture that he’s in? Am I attributing his uniqueness to things that are very common in this field or is he actually this odd? His lyrics… all of his creative choices… Dont get me wrong i say this with all love I love it all but wow man he’s so odd.

Pattern w In Bladee lyrics, from drain training
noticed how many lyrics coincide music production. Got me wondering.
Shapes of patterns when you lay them notes out. You get a lot of smiles, flags, faces. Get stars if you find 4 notes. find 3 to make a nice little circle across the octaves. I’ve noticed a little sword 🗡️ in the keys of the keyboard that makes a nice sound together. Forward one back to is a nice little Melody on the keys.
Random things like. glue. toxic, stadium, flex, harmor, platinum, silver, gold (he no use).
