Hi. I'm heading to Birmingham in a few days to spend the week with some friends and we're planning to make a few Asian inspired dishes.

I thought that rather than getting the necessary things from the supermarket I should finally do what I've always intended when in the area and go to an Asian supermarket.

I'm looking for things like bao, wrappers for spring rolls/wonton and rice wine vinegar etc for pickling vegetables.

I've heard good things about Wing Yip but would definitely consider alternative options depending on availability of items and location. I'm blind so will be getting a taxi so it would be good to find somewhere that either has a car park or at least somewhere close by for the driver to drop me off.

I recently discovered this fanfic and absolutely loved it! I really enjoyed the mix of action, romance and friendship. There were some genuinely dark and disturbing moments but they made the lighter moments so much more impactful. I would love to read more works like this one!
