As a Gold Driver in UBER does our tier really matter?

Not sure if im breaking group rules if so I apologize. But me doing Uber is an experiment and im just sharing an observation. One thing I noticed as a Fold driver is that the perks of being Gold barely even make a difference. I usually almost always get orders where the miles are greater than pay. Frustrating when the competition is more consistently kicking out pay greater than the miles.. Also seem to be getting lots of orders after restaurant is closed and those trips kill my gas with no compensation. Still luv the app just an observation.

What happens when gas reaches $5

Will they adjust base pay or do drivers throw in the towel? Or do you wait on gas prices ro drop a little? Any longferm drivers been thru high prices before? Should new drivers have a strategy during these times or is it business as usual?

I love Uber Eats and am so 🙏🏾 grateful to be able to scrape up extra income in hard times.

Thank you Uber. Thank God for the opportunity. Those who aren't grateful should just quit and leave more money for the grateful drivers on the table. This is only my 1st week and a half in Uber and I've been able to save up money again. Life is getting interesting 🙏🏾😆🤑 Im ready to put in that work all year long!!! I feel like I can do $1000 a week when I get to platinum status..
