Reliability of Functional Medicine to Find Real Causes/Contributors of Anxiety?

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking at seeing a naturopath in Australia again for the first time in about 5 years. Have had a month now of high anxiety and whilst I'm doing the work of regular exercise, trying to improve sleep, eating a better diet and engaging in CBT; I want to delve deeper into potential aggravators of this mental health condition.

I have got some small benefits in the past, mainly around dietary advice such as keto diets which helped me in the past, but my body seems to struggle with keto now.

I've done lots of supplement plans in the past to heal the gut and improve hormonal and adrenal health, though can't say I felt much different, and the vast amount of supplements caused some stomach upset.

I'd like to ask whether anyone recommends any of these tests or can see any relevancy to anxiety?

Here is a link to the clinic I am considering going to and their testing:

Just looking for someone to talk to

I'm at the height of an anxiety period at the moment, partially due to this fear but also perhaps just struggling with OCD itself. Would love to message or inbox anyone who is recovered to perhaps just chat about recovery and relapse etc and ideas.

Just picked up a new car and I’m trying to take proper care of the paint from day one. I’ve been reading that using a pH-neutral car wash is the safest option to avoid stripping wax or damaging the finish.

Does anyone have recommendations on where to find a good natural pH-neutral car wash (either in-store in Australia or online)? The ones I was recommended so far have been full of harsh chemicals that I don't want to touch/breathe.

Also open to brand suggestions or things to avoid—keen to hear what’s worked (or hasn’t) for you.

Cheers!

Hey everyone,

I’ve just picked up a 2026 Corolla Cross GX (fabric seats) here in Australia and I’m looking into upgrading to leather seat covers – ideally something that looks close to factory and fits properly.

I’ve been doing a heap of research but honestly it’s pretty overwhelming, especially trying to figure out what actually fits the Corolla Cross properly vs universal stuff that ends up looking average.

I’d love to hear from people who have already gone down this path:

  • What brands did you go with?
  • Did you choose custom-fit vs universal?
  • How well did they fit (especially the rear seats)?
  • Any regrets or things you’d do differently?

I’ve seen a few posts where people said universal “leather” covers looked good but were a nightmare to fit or didn’t suit the back seats at all , so I’m a bit cautious about going down that route.

Also curious about:

  • Whether it’s worth paying extra for proper custom-fit covers
  • If anyone got theirs professionally installed (I’m not super confident doing it myself 😅)
  • Any issues with airbags, durability, or wear over time

I’m specifically after genuine leather or at least high-quality leather-style covers, not cheap stuff that cracks or looks tacky after a year.

Would really appreciate hearing both:

  • ✅ Success stories (what worked really well)
  • ❌ Fail stories (what to avoid at all costs)

Trying to make the right decision the first time rather than wasting money.

Cheers!
