Question about the old Funcoland of Forest Commons (Western Beef plaza) on Forest ave

Simple version: When did the old Funcoland of Forest Commons move to the Shoprite plaza?
Long version:
After a thread some time ago about a Starbucks opening up in the Western Beef Forest shopping plaza, someone mentioned that the spot used to be a Funcoland. It brought back forgotten memories of a time in 2004 where my mom and I were trying to find a Gamestop in a Forest ave shopping plaza between 440 and South ave and did not have success, therefore had to drive all the way to the Staten Island mall’s Gamestop.
Later I would find out that the Gamestop we were looking for was (rather hidden) in the Forest Promenade (Shoprite plaza).
But why would we have been driving all the way down to the Western Beef Plaza? Had the Gamestop always been by Shoprite? Had it been by Shoprite when it was a Funcoland?
And boom, I finally get it clarified with this post.
But does anyone know when this happened?
I remember going to a Funcoland as a 4-5 year old in 1994/1995 and I’m almost positive it was in the Western Beef plaza now. Both the Western Beef Plaza and the Shoprite plaza seem like they were built within a few years of each other so it gets confusing. In addition, I remember when Shoprite opened in 1994 there.

Modern audio engineering trends with a harsh prickly characteristic that causes me great discomfort - what could be causing it? example audio included

I have audio sensory issues and I want to explore what it is that is causing my discomfort with a sort of auditory mixing choice in modern media. I've been noticing that whether it's a song or a sound effect in a video, certain percussion or clicks are too sharp or too close to my ear. I notice it when my mom is watching Youtube, videos with high production value often have these annoying intrusive, clicky sound effects that make me wince. I notice this in music too, mainly with these strange clicky rims, or these overly clicky snaps in the beat, usually a minimalist beat, that are used in music, especially since 2015. (The music I listen to regularly for my enjoyment tends to be from before 2001 for what it's worth) I feel like I didn't notice this as much when I was a teenager in the 2000s with the main exception being those annoying crunchy snap-claps, now it's commonplace (or maybe I got better headphones).

It's like ASMR invaded other media and music, and ASMR is too much for me.

In general I am sensitive to noise and music and high pitched frequencies in general. I usually listen to my music through a moderate low pass filter.

Included is a short audio clip I made from some prickly sounds that shipped with Ableton Live.

Burlington Coat Factory still has its original 1999 facade at [The Mills at] Jersey Gardens as of May 29th, 2026

I don't shop at Burlington but the original 1999 facade is just so cool and reflects the original design of Jersey Gardens' plant wall before it was removed in the early 2010s.

I didn't actually go in the store because I heard they have security cameras that create 3d models of you or something. Though if I got caught on one of those cameras taking these pictures, so be it.

I'm wondering if its days are numbered since Burlington and/or Cohoes may move to the old Saks off 5th Avenue location in the mall, so I made sure to get there ASAP, and take lots of high quality pictures.

The Mills at Jersey Gardens was originally designed by Rockwell Architecture in 1999.
