Concrete step repair

I keep seeing this ad on Facebook that someone uses a patching compound to repair a broken concrete step corner. He makes it look very easy and it looks great afterwards. Is there a product that really works that good?

Table Saw guard

I am curious as to how many people leave the blade guard on their table saw? I removed mine several years ago. But,after some close calls, I am thinking about putting it back on.

Cabinet finishes

I am going to make some cabinets for my daughter's laundry room. She would like to stain them grey. I think the best wood to use is white oak. It's a little cash. I thought about red oak, but afraid it won't work well with Grey stain. Any other suggestions? Maybe Ash ?

Problem drilling pen blanks

When I drill the blanks for a 3/8 tube, their seems to be to much play with the tube. I use a 3/8 bit from Rockler that is for drilling blanks. I have a Wen drill press that is pretty new. Should I try a new bit ? Or something else?
