Love Costa Mesa Day is coming up — looking for neighbors who want to join
Hey r/CostaMesa,
Quick post in case anyone's looking for a way to get more connected to the city.
Love Costa Mesa Day is an annual community-wide day of service where neighbors, schools, churches, businesses, and nonprofits all take on projects around town the same day — cleanups, beautification, supply drives, helping out at local orgs, etc. It's been growing every year.
You don't need to be part of an organization to join. Individuals, families, and small groups can all sign up. There's a project for pretty much every interest, age, and ability level. Some are physical (street and park cleanups), some aren't (sorting donations, writing notes, helping at a check-in table, etc.).
If you're interested, you can sign up here: https://x.gldn.io/e/B28rm2A3R2b
I'm helping coordinate projects on the planning side, so happy to answer questions in the comments — what to expect, what a specific project actually involves, where help is most needed, etc.
