Before every vehicle purchases, I extensively browse the subreddits of the models I'm considering to research common problems before making a purchasing decision.

What's ... different ... about this subreddit is I don't see many posts of owners having problems, outside of a few related to higher milage wear and tear. Perhaps this car is largely problem free, but I have a hard time believing there aren't a few trouble spots to watch out for.

What are some of the common problems with this vehicle. I'm specifically looking for a type-s, and I usually buy lease turn in's.

I am in the market for my first Volvo, a pre-owned XC90, and I am only interested in the B6 powertrain with 295 HP.

The problem is, when searching inventory across the internet, I can only seem to filter on engine type. Since both the B5 and B6 have the same 2.0L I-4, it's getting challening finding only the listing with the B6 spec. I have also found that most non-Volvo dealers do not include the B5 or B6 distinction, nor the rated horsepower, on their listings. In some cases, I have to contact the dealership to find out.

Is there a way I can quickly filter out only the B6 variant of pre-owned XC90's? I am considering 2023 and newer model years.
