I’ve just finished college (Applied Science, Engineering and Health & Social Care) and I’m starting to rethink my plans.

I was planning to study Diagnostic Radiography at university, but I’m having doubts. The student debt is a big factor, and with what seems like a current NHS recruitment slowdown, it’s made me question how secure a job actually is after graduating.

I’m also trying to be realistic with myself.I’d say I’m an average student, and I don’t think I’d be competitive for something like a degree apprenticeship.
I am stuck I don’t know what the next step is, and having constant fear for failing in life because I don’t want to go into a path I would regret. Just want a comfortable future for myself.
