Need guidance on what's missing

Hey guys! I'm just starting to get into cuckoo clocks. I bought one off market place for cheap, and I'm looking to try and restore it as a cool project.

I have very limited clue as to how to start to fix the clock part (is that called a moment? Idk, sorry guys!) as there are a few parts missing.

I know i need the chain and weights to go on the back cog thing, but dont know how to calculate the weight needed or chain length. Eek!

I've seen 250 g is standard, should I just experiment and add and take away weight?

And I need a pendulum, but dont know whether that needs a specific weight.

Also, im not sure if anything else is missing, if theres anyone out there who could help, lmk!

I've included images pre and post disassembly.

Also, I cant find the timing, whether its 1 day or 8 day. I'd assume 1, cause it is quite small, but all it says on the back is western Germany and no 0 jewels unadjusted.

Prof changed grade 3 times?

I've submitted an assignment and the mark has gone from 15/15 to 13/15, now to 12/15.

I understand that if it needed changing, it should be changed. I don't challenge or doubt that these changes are valid.

But holy moly, this is worth like 30 percent of my final grade, and I walked into the exam thinking I got 15/15 on the material being tested, so didn't see the need to revise those points rigorously.

I think if I had known the 15/15 was just a place holder, I would have studied harder on those subjects.

I'm not too sure how I feel about this, but it seems somewhat unprofessional to update the grade post-exam despite it being due weeks before.

But teachers are overworked and underpaid, so idk. I understand it, but do you guys think this is worth an email asking about the system for grading?

Cheers.

Enrolled second year subject in course accidentally HELP

I accidentally enrolled in a course Sem 1 that I apparently (news to me) I should not have.

I failed 2 classes last semester (2025 sem 2) because I was kind of temporarily homeless for a couple nights, moving around with no real place to study. Doesn't really matter.

I had a meeting with the head to discuss how to restructure the program, they said it's all good, all you need to do is re-enroll in these subjects I failed. They said instead of taking 2 second year subjects in Sem 2 2026, retake these 2 I failed in 2025.

That's what I did. Sem 1 I enrolled as normal. Now, looking at the handbook, it says I should have satisfactorily completed one of the subjects I failed before undertaking this course. Woops.

I've already taken the class, and I've definitely passed. Right now I've got around 74% average, I took the exam and would say I'm not failing the entire subject.

If I pass this subject, would I be able to go back to the head and ask for RPL? Technically RFL lmao because it was future learning. Or is that not advisable and I should pretend that this never happened and just take the L and re-do it?

The benefit to not having to do 2 subjects at once again would mean I could possibly just overload 1 subject for 1 semester, and I would graduate at the same time as everyone else! that would make me really happy, but I understand I kind messed it up.

Please help!!!
