I originally scheduled with smart start but the company they had me go with to install gave me THE WORST Customer service of my life. I asked for my keys back and just left, luckily I had another appointment with life saver and went with them. How’s everyone’s experience been with life saver ???
Anyone have a crazyyyy situation that you somehow got the best case possible? (Like avoided jail, worked it down to a misdemeanors etc) I had my situation take place a few months ago . A big accident that mostly affected me , but did total the other drivers car . Wasn’t able to blow due to being hospitalized but my blood alcohol was .11.
Lawyer hasn’t been very communicative which I can’t tell is a good thing or bad thing I’ll go to court sometime in July , again ny lawyer has not been communicative so I really have no idea what he has on my case. I was recently told to go to AA but I feel like at this point it won’t do anything to help my case considering I’ll go in a month to face the judge but even so it’s hard for me to fit in time when I work a fulltime job AND have to work out going to physical therapy. I’m scared but I’m trying to think positive and trying to have faith in my lawyer , I think I’ll likely avoid jail (fingers crossed) but definitely expecting probation and that device to blow to start the car. I just want to know some stories and try to stay hopeful .
Anyone get a DUI that happened to involve an accident with another driver? What ended up happening?
I need opinions before I say something (or even potentially ask for my money back ) because I feel like I might be overthinking but also not really but idk since I’ve never dealt with this before . I met with a DUI lawyer around April 8 and then officially hired him on April 15 and paid most of the fee like over 80 percent and Since then I have not heard anything from him at all . There’s been no updates no check ins nothing …..I understand things can take time and maybe he is waiting on reports or court stuff but I guess I expected at least some kind of communication especially after paying that much. I don’t want to come off as annoying or impatient but I also feel weird just sitting here not knowing what is going on. Is this normal??
