Deck recommendations for Parasit and Waster please 🙏

Really enjoy the game and want to upgrade some of my lowest level cards which are Parasite and Waster.

If you could recommend some good decks for both or either cards, i'd be really grateful.

What spells go well with those cards?

Thank you!

Cheap and low effort ready meal options for an exhausted frugal sister

I work full time and most days I'm too exhausted to cook a proper meal after work. To avoid just grazing on snacks all evening, I've been buying Tesco frozen ready meals (£2-3.50 with Clubcard) for about a year.

Problem is, the 400g meals don't fill me up, but two is too much. I've also worked through the options I actually like and I'm getting bored.

I've tried HelloFresh, Gousto and Plathood during their discount periods, but honestly the prep is still too much after a long day.

I do meal prepping on the weekends when I can, but that doesn't cover everything.

I'm not picky, I just want something quick, cheap, and halfway nutritious to actually fill me up. Any go-to meals or brands you'd recommend for days like this? Ideally under £5 per meal 🙏

Your help is massively appreciated!

Ps: i miss when chicken shops where the cheap and low effort option 🥲

How long till the begging and whining while we are eating stops?

I've had my 18 week old Maltese mix for around 8 weeks and made it a point that neither I nor my partner give her food off of our plates and yet no matter when and where, if someone is eating something she will do everything she can to get some. Regardless of whether she has just eaten a lot

These are her favorite on rotation

She'll sit infront of us/next to us and stare and whine for a piece.

If we're snacking on the leaning back on the sofa she will keep trying to jump on our chests to get a sniff or bite of whatever we are eating.

She is tiny, so luckily sitting upright and leaning forward makes it impossible to get to us and we then just ignore her until eventually she calms down when we are close to finishing.

almost the entire time she will sit next to us licking our arm or feet asking for a piece of whatever it is we are eating.

Anyone else experience this with their puppy?

Does it ever stop?

How can we react better in these situations?

Thank you

Picky puppy finally ate with enthusiasm -but the food is Nestlé owned 🥲. Looking for independent alternatives pls

My puppy has never been particularly food motivated. Finding treats that weren't insulting to her took ages, but I finally cracked it - she now has ones (wainwright) she is always happy to have

Food has been a whole other struggle. I've tried:

- Butcher's puppy wet food- few bites, walked away

- Bounce & Bella dry food- sometimes a few kibbles, sometimes just sniffed and left (switched back to wet foo

- JR Pet Complete Wellbeing: small amounts and left

- What the breeder was feeding - same story at he beginning

- Pure Pet Food- currently on this, likely cancelling before the second delivery as she's shown no more interest than the others

She eats so little that the only time she finishes a meal is when she's basically starving. She's started foraging obsessively outside which tells me she's genuinely hungry, not just being dramatic. I've been doing the 15 min rule, no food out between meals, reducing treats - she just doesn't care enough about the food to eat properly.

Yesterday we were out for a long picnic and I popped into a Tesco Express to grab something she could eat if we stayed past her dinner time. Only decent option was Lily's Kitchen Cottage Pie. She absolutely devoured it. Licked the tin clean. That's the reaction I've been hoping for from day one.

Problem is, Lily's Kitchen has been owned by Nestlé since 2020, and I actively try to boycott Nestlé. If it's genuinely the only thing she'll eat with enthusiasm, then so be it, but I'd love to know if anyone has found independent brands with a similar profile -proper wet food, high meat content, strong smell, that their dogs have responded to the same way.

Has anyone switched from Lily's Kitchen to something independent and had their dog take to it just as well?

3.5 month old Maltese mix suddenly woofing/barking at familiar & unfamiliar people- how do I handle this? 🥺

Hi all! I've had my Maltese mix (Bichon/likely Yorkie) for about a month now and she's been doing really well overall.

But two days ago something new started and I want to address it early before it becomes a habit.

What's happening:

She's started vocalising at people near our shared front garden. It began with strangers who stopped to chat with me over the fence while I was doing garden work -she gave soft little woofs, not full barks. Then today she did it at my neighbour Theo, who she sees almost daily. And later she actually barked at my other neighbour Tom, who she's also met a few times and watched me have normal conversations with.

So it's escalating slightly, from strangers to familiar people, and I'm not sure if she's saying hi, alerting me, or she is scared. We live in a shared building with a shared fenced garden where i can leave her unleashed and everyone should have the right to come out without being barked at.

My questions:

In the moment, what should I do when she does it? React, ignore, redirect? How exactly pls 🙏

Training: can I actively train this away, and if so how?

Any ideas why this is happening? Anyway i can find out if she is frightening or over confident.

Help! Puppy pees inside the flat as soon we get back inside 🥲

Tl:DR: 13-week-old Maltichon, had 1.5 weeks. First time dog owner, work from home. Pooping is reliable outside (massive win), but peeing has suddenly shifted - she goes to her outdoor spots, doesn't seem to actually pee, then pees indoors within minutes.

Puppy: Maltichon, 13 weeks old, 1.5 weeks with me

Background: Breeder trained her on pee pads (all rugs now removed to reduce confusion)

My situation: Work from home, flexible schedule, small studio flat with gated garden

Schedule: Out every 2-3 hours + after naps/play; crate at night (working perfectly - she whines at 3am and 6-7am to go out and toilets reliably)

The Situation

Until 2 days ago: Progress was solid. I celebrated outdoor toilets with a "party" (excitement, treats). Pooping outside is still reliable and her favorite spots have become where I can't always directly see her)

2 days ago, she lost interest in the celebration reward and seemed to be more interested in sniffing the garden. (Foxes and Cats jumping through our garden, so must be exciting for her). Not sure if the "party" made her self-conscious about toileting, but i felt like she started speaking more private spots to pee and poo, around the corner of the shed and underneath that one big bush corner - the only two spots in the garden i don't have clear vision to from ever spot i stand or sit in the garden.

Last afternoon and this noon she has decided to pee in side as soon as we get bavk in. We'd be outside for at least 15-20mins the similar goes to her usual outdoor spots, sniffs around, its a bit hard to tell when she is sitting if she is squatting or sitting because she is sooo tiny. Its also been raining heavily so can't verify with wet spot. I let her do her thing for bit, she does her usual sniff around the fence and garden, eventually she comes back and lies down next to me looking "done", we stay a few more minutes and then head inside but then pees indoors within minutes. Yesterday under the TV stand and today by the coffee table. Always after we've been outside for 20+ mins. 🥲

Key detail: This morning it happened again with no stressors or anything unusual (yesterday a neighbor spooked a cat, which spooked the puppy, but today was quiet and calm). So it's not just a one-off stress reaction, which i had assumed. i'm worried i'd accidentally teaching her something wrong.

My Questions

Why has she stopped actually peeing outside? She goes through the motions at her spots, but seems to be holding it until indoors. What could have shifted?

Did the celebration "party" backfire? She's lost interest in the reward - did it make her self-conscious about toileting? She is definitely looking to run towards hidden spots and when i come around the corner of the shed she usually poos there hiden from me.

What's triggering the indoor spots? Under furniture, near the water bowl — is this anxiety or pee pad imprinting? I always clean with enzyme clesner

Adopting a dog soon and haven't really seen a dog park like that in the area, where dogs can run off leash and play with other dogs. Does that exist here?

A short google search suggested there may or may not be one in Higham hill park or Lloyds park, but i'm not sure?

Alsl happy for any recommendations for dog friendly places you can recommend.

I'm in the south of walthamstow, below the village so planning a lot of outings to Hollow Pond, but i don't think there is a gated free running area either 🤔

Are there any dog meet ups?

I'm super excited and looking forward to your suggestions and recommendations, thank you ☺️
