I recently purchased this tv from the LG partner store for $1660 after tax. I have seen some videos of LG tvs having invasive advertisements. I am wondering if it would be better to never connect the tv to the internet and get an Apple TV 4K instead. Although I saw one update from March that some people said improved the picture quality of the tv.

What do you guys think? Should I update the tv or never connect it to the internet?

What bookshelf speakers would you recommend for the L/R channels for around 500? I plan on pairing them with an Onkyo RZ30 AVR and SVS PB-2000 pro subwoofer. I am just starting off with a 2.1 system for now and will save up to one day go 5.2.4.

I recently was able to demo the Kef Q1 Meta and Martin Logan Foundational B1 speakers. I wasn’t able to demo them for movies since the Best Buy rep shift was ending. I was surprised for music at least that I liked the Martin Logans. I see Kef recommended quite frequently at this price, even on the buying guide. If I liked the Martin Logans more for music, will I also like it more for movies? I will try to go back at some point to demo again. I would love to hear alternative options as well to research!
