Admission: I’m a Gen-Xer. My mom was in the first generation to get color-typed. All we had were drapes pulled out of our closets or friends’ closets. Ive been amateur color-typing for decades.

You can tell me I’m imagining it, but I can’t color-type with post-photo frames or wheels of color shown over a photograph taken with different colors actually on.

I have to see how the color reflects on the skin. So I’m not a fabric purist, I’m a color-on-person-before-photo purist.

I always know “gold or silver” in that sub because it’s always a photograph shown with the metal on the skin, pre-snapshot.

I can guess seasons here with post-photo-framing by referring to traditional color combos like dark hair/pale skin, blue-black skin, or strawberry blonde/freckles. But a lot of the pictures in the post-production wheels/frames look the same to me.

How are you guys doing it?

Since I combined my Obsidian (small) and Evernote (big) databases, I can’t get to vaults on Obsidian in my iPhone App (lots of RAM), it just says “indexing vault” and it never stops or even show movement on the progress bar.

Is it just too big to open on mobile? It works fine on my computer and iPad.

Should I just start fresh with an empty vault and bring in notes as I use them? Maybe do some searches for important topics and bring a lot of those notes over. Are we talking about two copy paste functions for each one (title & body) or is there some automation I can use?

Maybe I can build one in Claude Cowork.

I received an Autism level 1 diagnosis in my 50’s. I had received a severe ADHD diagnosis in my 20’s.

I see people here discovering their masking gradually.

I don’t see any masking I’m doing. Am I in denial?

Matteo seems pretty adult to me although he does play with Finnegan like a puppy.
