What the fuck is going on?

The lim1t after the reset 12 hours ago is a joke. A single 5.6 sol ultra planning task reduced my Pro plan lim1t by 15% WEEKLY limit (I've work that justifies this).

And they're censoring our complains and woes by deleting all the threads and 'summarizing' them into a megathread nobody will read. This is ridiculous. They're continuously reducing our lim1ts despite everyone clearly complaining about this!

There's no accountability or even any acknowledgement of this happening, which is the scary part, because there's no way nobody in OpenAI sees this after the huge outcry on Reddit over the last few days. We're on a trajectory, and this isn't anywhere close to what we will deal with in the near future.

There's a reason they're expanding their userbase by promoting ChatGPT Work (which uses the same credit and capacity as codex) to the common people via the app. They need volume and scale and they're trying to get people hooked before they pull the plug.

This is similar to the tactic the British used in the Opium War. Create a problem that isn't there and offer the solution.

I paid for last month’s subscription and received 1,000 credits, which are valid until November. My understanding was that if the subscription payment failed this month, the plan would simply end and I would still be able to use the credits I had already purchased.

Instead, the failed payment appears to have locked me into the subscription and prevented me from using my remaining credits unless I pay for another month. That does not seem reasonable, especially when those credits were already paid for and have not expired.

I cancelled the subscription since I did not need another month, but the credits themselves are valid until November. Just cancel my current month instead of witholding the usage of my CURRENT credit.

Anthropic is throwing away their lead, the market reception is lagging behind but Gemini is massively improving as we speak on all fronts, including Jules, not to mention to innovation of open models are equally progressive.

If they keep up such pricing, because eventually all companies will be practically equal in terms of compute power, and with China having invest intensely in Energy specifically for their AI capacity, there's no way Anthropic can sustain or differentiate if they do not do something different.

This is a sinking ship. Their only hope is early Enterprise adoption entrenching them into the ecosystem, but even then their imbecile of a CEO had to offend Trump and get them into a lengthy battle with the federal government over the supply chain risk label, so that's nice. "Why not just turn the gun around and shoot myself?" is how the guy looks like anyways.

Effectively, Anthropic is sinking like a motherfucker. The indicators are lagging, sure, but the fact is the wind has shifted tremendously.
