Our police/sheriff department signed a contract with flock and I can’t stress enough how important it is that we all start calling and expressing outrage about this blatant invasion of privacy.
Other cities and towns have been able to make the local government break these contracts and drive the surveillance out but it’s VERY important that the residents voice concerns and outrage about the cameras.
The flock cameras in no way benefit the people kidnappings/rape/robberies haven’t gone down in places that install them, but do you know what does go up? Speeding tickets and drug charges. As well as multiple instances of police officers abusing the cameras to stalk people and keep an eye on women they found attractive. I implore people to look into this and speak out against it. This is supposed to be America not a mass surveillance police state.
