Rage quit my job today
Okay, I just made it a full year at my job. It is a horrible, soul crushing, beat you up and run you into the ground job. I have been hanging on by a thread since March. I tried to politely quit then but they asked me to stay. Made it til today and I quit in the middle of the day. I'm in Florida, WFH, and my AC has been out 2 days and I have to wait for a replacement part to come in sometime next week.
Been sitting here w a fan blowing directly on me sitting just outside my zoom meeting. If I wasn't so hot from the peri, it probably could've saved my job.
Idk what I'll do now but I did save up some $$ and I'm lucky to have a supportive husband who had already told me to quit bc I was so miserable. Seriously though, I can't believe how quickly I snapped. And that's all I have. I officially feel crazy, but also so relieved.
