28M, Who is reading Jurassic Park (or the Lost World)?

Hey guys, 28M trying to wean myself off video games by reading. Currently on a sci-fi run after exclusively reading non-fiction as a teenager. Some recents include The Island of Dr Moreau and The Body Snatchers too

(Scotland) Is it worth complaining about my solicitors?

I'm in the process of buying a home & am having a difficult time with our solicitors. Primarily, they are telling us one thing, then telling us the opposite (i.e a document won't need to be certified, then complaining when the one they received isn't certified)

Is it worth complaining over this, and would it be better to go directly via them or the Ombudsman? Also, what are the likely outcomes?

Waiving some of their fees/renumeration would be ideal (but not expected). But also, if this is going to be a lot of emailing/phonecalls for nothing, I'm not sure I want to add more to an already full plate
