Questions about student life in Denmark as an international/EU student
Hi, I’m planning to apply to universities in Denmark, and I’m trying to understand student life there a bit more realistically, so I wanted to ask current students a few questions:
• How difficult is it for international/EU students to get SU?
• How long does the process usually take?
• Is it realistically possible to combine studies with a student job?
• Is it difficult for international students to find part-time jobs in Denmark?
• Do you know any companies/places that often hire international students?
• Where do students usually look for affordable apartments/student housing?
• Are there any websites/Facebook groups/apps you would recommend?
• And generally — is there anything you wish you knew before moving to Denmark as a student?
