Is this possibly neon tetra disease? Added some tetra to my tank yesterday and 3 already died.
I initially thought my dwarf ghorami was killing them but inspecting the dead ones there are no nipped fins or chunks missing so im thinking it might not be him. I have seen him chase them around though.
I recently stocked my 14 gal cube tank with 3 neon tetras, 3 gold neon tetras (my brief research says they should recognize eachother as same species and school together) and a flame dwarf gorami.
Since getting the fish in two weeks I already lost 2 gold neons and 1 neon. All water parameters are fine, ph and water temp is good for everything stocked.
Online it says the gorami is a peaceful community fish. I have never seen him hostile toward the other fish, the tank has plenty of hiding spots and when I inspected the dead fish they look intact, fins look fine. So I dont think its the gorami.
What could be killing my fish? Did I just get unlucky and got some sick fish or something?
What is this bump in my gums? I dont think it was there yesterday. It doesn't hurt activity but eating and touching it hurt. Rarely drink and dont smoke.
