I know my standards are a little unusual, but please try to understand

I expect 10 dates before I’ll kiss them I expect 50 dates before I’ll sleep with them. I think a hangout/activity is a date ONLY if there’s flowers.

Reasonably, I don’t actually expect 50 dates before sleeping with them, it’s just something I say to get their reaction. And before anyone says “well flowers are expensive”- I don’t expect a big bouquet or anything. Picking up a flower from the ground, or even drawing a flower is enough. Even picking up a dead plant because flowers aren’t in season is enough. It’s more the thought/action, rather than the flowers themselves.

I’ve been called “No kisses until after at least 10 dates that all must include flowers is weird, pompous, spoiled, narcissist, and immature behavior.” And I really don’t see why.

I think my request for at least 10 dates is the bare minimum? I’ve specified that it doesn’t need to be expensive. It could be a walk, it could be star gazing, it could be drawing, or like going to a shelter to hang out with animals who need love. I don’t expect money, I expect effort and time.

Am I too high up on a horse? Am I being unreasonable?

To further explain; A guy who lives 6 hours away sent me flowers just because he wanted to make me happy. I’ve never met the guy, and we only had 3 small conversations. This definitely made my standards go up. Also I don’t expect anything I wouldn’t do for someone else..
