Is this a flower on my caladium?
I recently got my first caladium, a Postman Joyner, and I thought it was putting out a huge leaf 😭 but it’s been stuck like this for almost 2 weeks and I realized today its unraveled a bit more and it’s actually a flower (I think)
I don’t really have experience with flowering plants, and I’ve read that people often cut flowers off so the plant can focus its energy on the leaves instead. Is that true? Would you recommend cutting it off? I noticed when I first got it it was putting out 3-4 new leafs at a time small but still something and now it’s putting out just one and some of the bigger ones seems to have started browning.
Also, if I do cut it, should I cut the stem as low as possible? Thanks!
