Hello! My baby is almost 10 months old, with zero health issues, and is a couple pounds away from tripling his birth weight. He recently got his first tooth and has been biting my nipple and I’m starting to maybe feel ready to begin the weaning process.

I wanted to start by switching one feed out a day for cows milk (he won’t take formula milk he spits it out??) and he wants absolutely nothing to do with it. He will not take a bottle, nor drink cows milk in a straw cup, open cup, sippy cup, or a 360 cup lol. I’ve spent so much $ on cups! I can sometimes get him to take up to an ounce, but it takes 30+ minutes and he’s not interested. He drinks water out of all of these cups with no problem, except a bottle he won’t take.

What would you do? Should I just deal with the biting/try to teach him it’s not okay? If I just weaned our first morning feed to take the load off a bit, could I have him eat full fat yogurt to get the calcium etc, and then try again when he’s 12 months?

My doctor encouraged us to keep trying to get him to drink whole milk a few weeks ago but it’s not happening!
