partner has dog but my religion doesn’t allow dogs inside”

My partner has had her dog for around 5 years and she really loves it. The only people who could possibly look after the dog would be her family, but her family wich is her mom and sister they live in sponsorship house atm.even then we don’t really know what the best solution is. She doesn’t know what to do either.

She is trying to become Muslim, she loves Islam, and she has recently started reading the Quran. But at the same time, she loves her dog a lot, so it’s a difficult situation for both of us.

In my religion, I can’t have a dog living inside my home, especially if we were to live together in the future. I don’t want to hurt her, and I don’t want to be unfair to the dog either. I’m just trying to understand what a fair and respectful solution could be.

UK Certificate of Travel + ILR — do I need Schengen visa for Netherlands?

I’m planning a short trip to the Netherlands. I want to travel by Stena Line ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland, taking my car, then drive to Amsterdam with my girlfriend.

I live in the UK and have Indefinite Leave to Remain, with my UK status on eVisa. I travel on a UK Home Office Certificate of Travel — the black travel document — not a British passport. My nationality is Iraqi.

The Netherlands visa checker did not give me a clear answer when I entered Iraq, and then it told me to fill it again as a refugee/stateless/travel document holder.

Has anyone recently travelled to the Netherlands with a UK Certificate of Travel and ILR?

Do I need a Schengen visa for the Netherlands with this document?

Will Stena Line allow boarding from Harwich if I don’t have a visa?

Does ILR/eVisa make any difference, or is it based only on nationality and travel document?
