Scholarships for incoming freshman
Hi! Incoming college freshman po ako and badly needed po ng scholarships to support my studies. AFAIK, dalawang scholarships (one private and one public/gov't) lang po ang puwede per student. Mayroon na po akong one gov't-funded scholarship, however, hindi po s'ya kalakihan. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity po lalo na't alam ko na hindi lahat ay nabigyan nito pero I don't think it is enough to support my studies as well as the living expenses na magkakaroon ako as the academic year starts. May kalayuan po kasi ang state university na papasukan ko at kakailanganin ko mag-rent ng matitirahan. Itong university lang po ang choice na mayroon ako as I do not have the privilege to enroll and study sa private universities. Baka lang po may alam kayong private scholarship na puwede kong ma-apply-an.
Another concern ko po kasi ay most of the private/foundation scholarships na nakikita ko ay required na kasama ang applicant sa Top 10 or 10% ng batch. I do have an excellent academic record but I am not part of my batch Top 10/10%.
