Czech Cruet
Czechoslovakia to be exact! I love the optics from the panels on the lid.

I know, it's probably manganese. Just thought I would share this here because it's the only Coke bottle I've ever seen that reacts to 395nm at all, and the 395nm glow is actually brighter than the 365nm in real life. I've shined hundreds! It even has a ghostly glow in my cheap 395 LED strip setup.
I bought this because it was new to me. After a little research, it seems like Stevens and Williams Aventurine? I can't seem to find much to compare it to. The cut/faceted lead crystal manganese stopper fits perfectly, though I'm not sure if it's original. The bottom looks like it would have sat in a silver stand, with another bottle maybe? I don't care who made it, it's mine! 😂 It was labeled as Bohemian, but I haven't seen any Bohemian Opalescent Vaseline. Thoughts and comments!
Cadmium+Uranium mint dish. It's hard to capture on camera, but this amber glass has a funky glow. Idk why I always expect 7" to be bigger xD
Victorian, opalescent cranberry. It was cheap enough, I won't be too sad. I think I see some yellow though? 🧐
So, I finally got my first lamp! It's rather large for a chamber lamp, and rather dark amber for uranium glass. It said 1870s on the listing, but idk. Any information appreciated! It might actually be very old, since the wheel says British Made with a standard 3/4 inch measurement. That means it could've been manufactured before the USA started making their own lamp hardware, in 1860. Love to hear your thoughts!
Labeled yellow depression, generic AI description. Could this be Yeoman in Marigold?! Looks like the old formula maybe? No idea!
I just bought a whole lamp to see if this shade glows 😂. Do y'all think it looks like custard/opaline? It has a nice yellow-green color to it. It's going on the lamp in the last picture. Feel free to guess if that one glows too!
This will probably be my last one for a while, and it's already home waiting! Update in 2 hours.
Reposting an old favorite. I love the blend of cadmium/selenium and manganese in this piece. There's a little something extra going on with the manganese too, idk. It glows teal, not yellow-green.
Time for another blind buy! This one is out for delivery today. $65 for both, so I won't be super sad if it doesn't but I've got a good feeling. What do y'all think?
Found these two slag beauties at a price I couldn't refuse and decided to add them to my figurines. She's my first cobalt custard slag. Which other companies made custard slag for Rosso? I know Mosser did, and still makes Rosso glass but I am unsure of others. Summit or Wilkerson possibly?
Talk about iridescent! I could shave with this thing if I wanted, it's so reflective. Unfortunately, it blocks about 95% of the glow. This 3" orb weighs almost 2lbs, and it's more fun to look at in the light.
This was labeled as "Vintage yellow-green footed bowl." No mention of uranium. Could this be EAPG/antique Richards and Hartley 3-panel? Looks like the master berry bowl!
Labeled as orange and beige, from their father's personal collection. Could it be Burmese?!
Two blind buys. They were labeled uranium, but no glow pics. You know how that goes. I believe these were made by Mosser. What color do we think these lovely ladies will glow?
Labeled as King Tut style. I love how some of the swirls are Yin-Yangs. Update in about 12 hours!
One of the prettiest ones I've seen. Had to have it!
Two more for the collection, art glass from the American Art Glass movement, 1970s California. No enamel here! Just intricate glass work and cracked/crizzled/stretch iridescence. Uranium glass is icing on the 🎂.
The yellow parts look suspicious 🤔. More for the egg obsessi....I mean collection!!
