A1 AMS LITE feeding issues
Hey ya´ll. I´ve been having issues with my ams lite unit on my a1.
When doing single color prints the unit has zero problems retracting filaments and switching to others. The problem occours when doing multifilament prints, one of the filaments will get stuck, right at filament hub. The feeder will start blinking red, I then have to retract the filament, cut the tip at a 45° angle and then it´ll get past the hub.
The problem is so weird cause all the other filaments are well retracted and out of the hub but the filament won´t feed, like it´s getting stuck on the metal mesh in the hub. Even stranger it will never get stuck on normal prints, only multifilament prints.
The problem also hasn´t anything to do with the filament itself, rather that metal mesh. The problem used to be with feeder 1 but after rotating the mesh 90°, the problem is with feeder 4. There are no visible deformations in the mesh.
What is happening and how can I fix this?
