Comptia A+ help and other certs

Currently going to college for an MIS major, I plan to go into the IT field. I heard that you can get discounts for comptia certs if ur a student. I understand that the official test questions arent just out there but which websites did you guys use that helped you the most for practice tests?

I’ve just started looking into certs and comptia trifecta seems to pop up everywhere so I’m gonna start with that. I would like to get more insight about certs.

Thank you!

Do Head gasket sealers actually work?

Just watched the ChrisFix vid about it, seemed like he had a worse leak than I did but it still worked.

More info bout my car. 93 Civic D16Z6, I’m 90% sure it’s a head gasket leak, my car starts to overheat after driving through the city after about 25 minutes of stopping and going, however I can drive in the freeway forever and it will never start to overheat, I also noticed that once I get up to speed it will never overheat its just when I dont get the chance to get up to 30-40 mph. I put a funnel up to the radiator and would get bubbles every now and then, but that wasn’t enough for because in my head it could still just be air pockets but I let it idle for more than an hour and surprisingly the car never overheated in idle however the occasional bubble never stopped. My coolant does get lower overtime but It doesn’t drink it. I have checked for coolant leaks and cant find them what so ever, so it’s most likely leaking through the head gasket right?? I only really need to top off the rad once every month and it’s not like all my coolant is gone just enough to notice that its not filled to the top anymore. It’s also more of me checking if the coolant is staying at the same level rather than checking if I still have any coolant left at all situation. I have a gallon of anti freeze with me all the time but Ive only used about half of the gallon over the course of 9 months.

Oil never looked milky, just normal car oil even after putting over 1000 miles on it
Coolant every now and then does look like it has that oil film on top idk its because of when it overheats the rubber components start to burn a little bit?

It did look like It was smoking a lot from the exhaust on start up and it goes away as the car warms up but now that its gotten warmer it just looks like normal car smoke, so maybe it was just the cold? (I have headers and a catback system on, not straightpiped still have cats)

I’m in college I do love my car but I don’t have a garage or tools to do the work myself nor the money to get it fixed in a shop. I dont want to cause any permanent damage to car, mainly the engine but really considering putting a sealer because I think I barely have a leak that it might just work. Ty

Switching from CS to MIS.

I have been thinking about switching away from CS for a while and planned on just making it my minor. Currently in the Premajor for CS and about 70 percent done with it. The requirement for a CS minor in my uni is complete pre major + 2 classes of cs major classes one of them overlapping to MIS credit.

MIS was the one that really caught my attention since it branches business and cs together. If I major in MIS and minor in CS would I still be able to get a good tech/office job in the future? From the cs classes I’ve taken I’ve learned Java, c++, python, and racket.

MIS fits better to what my interests are rather than just pure CS, just worried on my job security after college, also I live around Seattle which I’ve heard is good if you’re looking for jobs that relates to MIS/CS.
