Use your time wisely...

Social media is just another tax on mentally poor people.

It steals their time and energy.

And most don't even realise it.

Become hyper-aware of the things that drain energy from you.

Did you know that...

Socrates had a technique for dealing with annoying people?

Sometimes you argue and the other person just raises their voice to prove a point. There’s nothing more unbearable, right?

Socrates was once attacked by a man. He was rude and uncivilized, and he went as far as “hitting” him with bad arguments. Even today there are many people like that… when they cannot present their ideas, they become aggressive.

But how did Socrates react? He did nothing!

He didn’t shout, he didn’t react violently — nothing. One of his students asked him about his behavior, and the great philosopher replied: “If a donkey kicked me, would I sue it?”

What does Socrates teach us?

That an intelligent person should never lower themselves to the level of an idiot.

Sometimes silence is the most elegant response.

The word “elegance” comes from the Latin electus, which does not coincidentally mean “light.”

What does that mean?

It means an elegant person is not someone who wears brand-name clothes or owns expensive things, but someone who knows how to behave, when to speak, and when to remain silent…

Be like Socrates!
