Help regarding my photos. I'm on an iPhone 13 running iOS 26.4.2 and updated around the night of April 26 after it bootlooped for 5 months and updated via recovery mode.

So as of right now it's May 30 and on May 28 i restarted my phone and turning it on the photos widget on my home screen suddenly started saying it was processing photos, checking the app the thumbnails were gray with a little cloud at the bottom right, but they do eventually reappear. Most of the photos seem to be okay but the thumbnails for some photos are still doing the thumbnail thing. Some of the video thumbnails still haven't appeared even though they play fine. The peoples and pets app haven't repopulated and the featured photos say that "No Featured Photos Available. Featured Photos will appear here when more photos and videos are added to the library, or synced wit iCloud.", before the whole thing happened everything seemed to work perfectly. I don't have iCloud synced (don't have the right plan), i was almost full storage but freed up storage space, plugged the phone in, kept it locked, and connected to wifi but still nothing.

I believe I had optimize storage on considering I don't remember seeing it or turning it on/off. And I won't have access to wifi for a few days because of a visit to the province.

Is everything okay? Do I need to worry? Is there anything wrong with my photos? Should I just wait? How should I proceed?

My photos suddenly started acting strangely and i need some help on how exactly to proceed. I'm on an iPhone 13 running the latest iOS

So a few hours ago i was at the airport waiting for my flight and restarted my phone. After opening it the photos widget on my homescreen was saying "Photos will appear here when they are finished processing" and confused I checked and scrolling up the photo thumbnails were grey with a little cloud at the bottom right. The thumbnails come back after a few seconds and my photos seem to be working fine, but the thumbnails on videos weren't showing. Going to collections and pressing on my profile it say the count of photos, videos, and items, underneath that it says "Restoring...". I decided to restart see if that helped but no dice. The photo count climbed as some thumbnails were back again, but my albums and memories are missing too! I need some knowledge on what this is because sometimes the photo count stops increasing and stays stagnant but doesn't decrease. I didn't connect it to icloud so i don't think its that and sometimes the profile stops saying restoring but waiting seems to do the trick.

so the albums and memories are showing up again but looking back to older photos it’s still happening. It’s also still happening to videos, namely videos. Checking my profile in the photos app again it isn’t saying restoring anymore. aside from that everything seems normal. And somehow some storage was also freed so I don’t know why that happened.

Where to buy toku and Pokemon stuff

In a few days I'll be going to Taiwan and staying in Taipei. I'm looking for places to buy Tokusatsu stuff like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. I'm aware that there is a Pokemon center in Taipei but I'm looking for english cards specifically, but Chinese cards are more common there from what I've seen. Any places I should check?

As the title implies my app icons turned white. I've tried rebooting, freeing up space then rebooting, reinstalling the latest iOS, reset home screen layout, force restart, checking app library the icons are still missing. But long pressing the home screen and changing the app size shows the icon again, what also helps is using zoomed display. There are apps I can't just uninstall and reinstall because some of the icons missing are safari, files, and voice memos. They open fine and its just the icons.

Another thing of note is that anything else in the customize menu seems to bring back these icons, the problem only appears in default. Should i just wait it out?

FIXED!!!! IF YOU HAVE A MACBOOK OR A MAC ENSURE THERES ENOUGH SPACE SO YOU CAN UPDATE. IT WILL TAKE A WHILE THOUGH!

So it's been months now but my iPhone 13 bootlooped because of full storage. My main goal is to get at least my photos back. I live in the Philippines and I've went to a repair tech that said they need to restore (again, main goal is photos), I've tried to update on my MacBook and I plan to try again. According to settings the iOS version was 17.6.1.

I've tried to update my phone via my MacBook. The extraction got to just below 50% when it stopped and said firmware corrupted, apparently it's an issue on MacBook storage and i free'd up a ton of space but the extraction process kept getting lower and lower. 20 attempts.
