My thoughts go out to all the OCDers struggling with health/contamination OCD while living in America

This news cycle has been rough and I bet it’s triggering a lot of folks right now with these themes of disease and contaminations of food. And I am wondering if lately any of the news has been triggering to you? I’ve personally had to stop watching news about bad things in general bc it kept triggering my catastrophe/end times themes. I’m interested to hear what other parts people find triggering in the news. Also curious to hear about people who overcame their triggers. How did you do it?

Onion wine... Tasting after 2 years.

I made this following the Jack Keller recipe and it is now 2 years old. It is amazing.

Smooth, caramel and earthly. Maybe just a hint of onion back taste.

I found a giant onion

I found a giant among giants. This red onion was bigger than a grapefruit. HEB seems to have an abnormally large onion harvest lately, but this red onion was bigger than my hand!! I was able to use it in 4 different dishes it was so big!

Hot OCD medication take

If you have OCD and you’re afraid to start medication for it, that’s also your OCD.

** DISCLAIMER: This does not apply to everyone with OCD, I am aware medication is not a perfect fit for all cases. But for cases where it is, OCDites tend to be afraid of starting it, despite studies showing success in reducing OCD symptoms.***
