I’m thinking about applying to the cosmetology program at Solano Community College. My goal is to eventually own my own beauty business and offer services like nails, lashes, skincare, waxing, and makeup.

For anyone who attended the program:

Did you feel the classes prepared you for the state board exam?

How were the instructors?

Did you get enough hands on practice?

Were you able to learn multiple beauty services or mainly hair?

What were the costs like after financial aid?

Did the program help with business skills, marketing, or building clientele?

Would you choose Solano again if you could start over?
