So... turns out WCTM people DO exist on Reddit 😭

For the longest time I genuinely thought everyone from our college was living exclusively on WhatsApp groups and LinkedIn.

myquals: 2nd year B.Tech student, curious about startups/innovation events

Recently saw a post on our college’s social media page (WCTM Gurgaon) about students attending an incubator/startup summit at IIT Delhi.

It looked pretty interesting honestly, but it also made me realize I have no idea what students actually do at these events 😭

For seniors who've attended startup summits, incubator programs, innovation events, founder meets etc.:

• What does a typical day look like?
• Do students actually get to interact with founders/mentors?
• Is there any real networking opportunity?
• Does it help with internships/startups later?
• Or is it mostly sessions, talks and certificates?

Would love to hear genuine experiences because these events always look impressive from the outside, but I’m curious how useful they actually are for students.

Was randomly scrolling through college posts and realized I’ve barely seen anyone from WCTM here 😭

Current students, alumni, hostellers, day scholars — whoever you are, show yourselves lol.

Would actually be fun to know:

• how placements/internals are going
• funniest campus lore 💀
