First BV infection on second copper IUD

First of all I’m just a paranoid virgin, so this wasn’t transmitted sexually and now I worry I can’t have sex like I want to if it doesn’t clear up, without spreading it to my friend, who is a virgin also.

My GYN keeps pressuring me to get Mirena instead because I have PCOS but I have had a few nightmare experiences on hormonal bc so I don’t really want to do that, but I feel like they will force me now that i got BV from Paragard.

I didn’t even know at all or suspect this could come back positive, help!

Edit: I also feel like my OB is gonna think I’m lying about being a virgin at this point because I’m in my 30s and my mom comes into the room with me due to my mental health issues and anxiety with exams so I feel like they will think it’s just for her benefit.

I’m a virgin so I’m guessing the BV is from my IUD

Never done anything not even oral but I have this iud for future proofing and protection from SA because I’m anti pregnancy and i have had trouble with hormones.

I do masturbate with toys but they have only ever been used by me and I usually cover them with condoms most of the time.

This is so humiliating.

CFH & charting for fun while on copper iud, learning to shade: how am I doing?

I was instructed by my OBGYN today to lay off inducing bleeding with Opill, and that if I go 90 days without a period on copper, I will have to switch to Mirena, which I would hate to do, but idk. I am trying to keep as much data as possible so I can have a talking point with endocrinology in a couple months.

String long

My string is long shortly AFTER my period ended a few days ago. My cervix is high (not ovulating tho) so I can’t feel the top. I used a tampon a couple times this cycle and that worries me but I got 3 ultrasounds done in 6 months out of caution so I’m wary of calling my GYN again. She also already trimmed the strings 1 inch at one point because they initially stuck out my vagina, but they are now the same length as my canal, when they weren’t before.

Edit: ✍️ I also used a dildo to try and push the strings higher because that usually works but it didn’t.

CFH am I using RYB right ?

I’m using the default TCOYF template so I’m wondering if that’s okay.

How many of you use BBT tracking to predict your CD1 on the coil/IUD

Anyone else who is really irregular find it helpful? I find Fertility Friend (if you’re on a budget) or Natural Cycles (for fancy features) have detailed setups you can’t get with Apple Health or Stardust/Clue.

Weird opinion: natural cycles is an iffy bc but an awesome period tracker

I have a Paragard due to hormone sensitivity (mood disorder, epilepsy etc) and I also have PCOS. My period comes on its own terms and being autistic a surprise period is a terrible thing for me. I’ve tried a few apps for tracking BBT and other symptoms including the validated methods which I found confusing for my purposes (especially since I’m not sexually active yet) and Natural Cycles is the easiest to use for someone who’s not tech savvy and I can still track the same stuff but everything is right there. I personally just like to see the temp rise and fall that signals things are (or aren’t ) on the way and when I might need to take birth control to induce a cycle if I miss one. I can see why using it for birth control or pregnancy achievement can be problematic of course. I honestly like it but think it should be marketed as a period app and not as fda cleared bc.

Tracking with Paragard

I have a Paragard for Bc but I’m so irregular I got this app to try and avoid surprises with my period. I don’t like wearables so I’m using my regular CVS BBT thermometer.
