In 2024, they began with the same record of 22-33. The team then decided to have a players-only meeting, leading to a run to save their season and provided fans with one of the most fun seasons ever.

While it’s wrong to claim a season as being over with 107 games left, realistically the chances are not good at all. Additionally, they also had a lot more talent and passion in 2024 compared to this “team.” However, does anyone think someone on this team will call a players-only meeting at some point? It can’t get any worse than it is. At this point, this season is like the scene from National Lampoon’s Christmas vacation when Clark yells, “Worse? How can things get any worse?”

I purchased tickets for the ferry to Citi Field for the Subway Series Saturday evening. It says parking is available at “The Wheel.” Is there a lot of parking available? It didn’t look like much on Google Maps, but it did look like there was a garage there as well (called the Village). However, I don’t know if The Wheel is associated with The Village. Also, I don’t know if the village parking garage is open 24/7.

Worst case scenario, I’ll park in the Metro Green garage near the train station and walk. It’s approximately a 15 minute walk, but I’m assuming Harbor Point is safe to walk at night.

Any recommendations or advice is welcome! Has anyone taken the ferry to Citi Field yet and how was it?
