Jim Henson's Nightmare: or the Second American Civil War

Jim Henson's Nightmare: or the Second American Civil War

I've been playing around with letting puppet states deal with states that have a high population of annoying interest groups (southern planters and yoeman farmers) and allowing the North to be a perfect haven. It's meant to emulate a long Reconstruction. Super funny the mormons took the neoconfederates' side. Big Texas is on my side though. Boil Jefferson Davis Jr. in Texas Oil.

Anyways, playing with puppets means they revolt if you don't annex them. Oh well.

Finally played 1.13 last night and good god

I need to roll back a patch because there’s just too much going on and it is extremely counter-intuitive to find things like conscripts. I spent like half an hour just trying to figure out how to get an interest on the pacific coast as the US.

I think I hate ships.

So idk why I stopped playing CK3 a couple years ago, right before the Plague pack came out. I remember liking the game a lot but Victoria 3 just had my attention a bit more and life really only let one game at a time happen. Victoria 3 is a bit of a mess this patch, and the trade and religion mechanics I’ve seen for this upcoming chapter really sound fun.

I guess I’m looking for y’all’s opinions about the current game state, future plans likelihood of success, whether previous DLCs are must haves, what you’ve liked, and if the game feels more in depth like true medieval sims rather than a pretty collection of text event chains.

Thanks!
